A simple move when you feel lost, stressed and sad

A startup founder I work with struggled professionally and personally.

She has been very 'successful' (exits x 2), she has a very supportive family, and she has a growing business.

But, she felt lost, stressed, and sad.

I asked her to take an 'ego' day. A day every week, during the workweek, focused on her needs.

A recurring day without any professional or personal obligations or things she 'has' to do. She decides; some of them she sleeps, does yoga, walks, reads, some of them she works at home or in a cafe. But, she is in total charge of her time on that day. She decides.

It's working. A simple move. Yet, so hard to give that space to oneself...
