Try this for a second:

With closed eyes (after reading the next paragraph :-) do this:

Imagine a project or activity you stopped doing years ago.

Now imagine if you stuck with it.

Where would it be today?

When you feel like giving up or stopping something today, close your eyes again and imagine where it might be years from now if you keep going.

If it is in a good place, keep going, if you cannot imagine it going well, then stop.
