There is a saying that goes something like this: “The road to oblivion is paved with good intentions”.
It is not what we intend to do that matters, it is what we actually do. Which actions we take day in and day out.
So, when I catch myself thinking about an intention, I ask myself, "What does the action look like?", and then either do that right then and there or put it on the list to do.
