Tourist: "How do you get to the Opera?"
Local: "practice"
It's true that getting to the big leagues, in music, sports, and business, requires practice (and talent, and luck).
When you look at the musicians, athletes, and business people that make it to the top of their game, they work harder and are more dedicated than others. They train their craft in new ways, are more diligent in applying their skills, and sacrifice more than others to get to where they dream of being.
I am not suggesting you work yourself to the bone (been there, done that).
What I am suggesting is that you accept the difference in sacrifice you are willing to make compared to the 'star' you compare yourself to.
And then, let it go.
You do you.
