My first company was started in a studio apartment in Brooklyn 16 years ago.
Clients asked where my office was, so I threw in a map of Brooklyn in my pitch.
I was embarrassed to show them the real thing. Tell them I worked out of my house, with two cats as my coworkers.
I shouldn't have been.
And thankfully today, no one cares where you work from.
