Eisenhower utilized a matrix with important on one axis and urgent on the other.
Whenever a task was to be considered, he would assess which quadrant it belonged in and take the proper action.Test it with your to-do list every day for a week or two.
My guess is that many items will slip out of your perceived urgent and important quadrant, providing you with a better perspective and greater balance in your daily life
